Which thread locker are you guys using?

For the other bolts that hold the impeller housing on it was suggested to use RED loctite when re-installing. Is this overkill? Should Blue be used?

    Also:

For the impeller I was going to use RED and torque to 105 ft/lbs but on the Macsboost site it suggest:

    * torque the impeller to 94 ft lbs and use removable threadlocker (aka blue loctite) on the threads!

For the impeller use RED and torque to 105 ft/lbs. Everything else nothing or Blue if it make you feel better, I only loctite the impellor.

Green loctite is very good too. Its somewhat in between blue and red... and prevents complete loosening. I believe blue and red only have strong initial lock, but green supposed to have medium, but constant lock on the entire thread.
My Kawi Jetski uses it everywhere, and also noticed it on some automotive applications. It's become my favorite loctite.

Don't believe this...The Green Locktite is the "Bearing mount and stud" compound. If you get a good bond with Green Locktite the part will break before it comes apart. You are supposed to use high heat on the bond before you try to disassemble it.
