    2012 RXP-X Reprograms

Is there are certain reprogram that works best for these skis? I am picking one up this week and once its broken in i would like to do some light modding. Just didn't know the difference in the Riva vs. R&D, vs. the tune done by Jerry.

Pretty much everyone is buying a handheld V-Tech tuning unit (what Jerry is using to tune the new ECUs) for just under $400, then you pay $600 per ski for unlimited tunes. So for $1000 you can try a few different tunes to see what suits you best and reset the ECU back to stock if you ever need to make a warranty claim or something. Plus you can use it to check error codes as well.

Jerry will do one tune of your choice to your ECU for around $750 if you send it to him but you'll need to send it back again if you ever want a different tune or your stock maps back.

Riva ECU's tend to be designed for the expensive Riva performance kits (of which i'm not a big fan). Haven't heard much about the R&D ECU yet but its also probably designed for a specific list of supporting modifications.

I just got my V-Tech, I'd personally recommend doing the same.

Haha it is until I upload the 8350 tuning maps. Still bone stock aside from free mods.

I'll let you know what it's like, waiting on some warranty work to get finished then I'll tune and run over a weekend. Then I should have all the parts for my 4" air intake with SC adapter and air hanger. I'll put that on, rip the FA out and let you know the difference again. Troyheb was getting 77mph on a similar setup with a 15/20 impeller. I'll be happy with 75 on my stock impeller so I don't loose any hole shot.

Yeah I'm waiting for the R&D closed course grate. All for the blistering acceleration and hole shot.

I'm hitting 8600 with my stock prop @ 76mph. FA removed, Kanaflex Air Intake, Riva Valvetrain.
The Dynotune Boost Gauge shows 11.7lbs of boost with a -.03 calibration. So 12lbs on stock charger.

You need to call Adam to calibrated it for you , 11.7 +.03 is 11.73
