What carb springs to use 95 780 SLX?

Heard many things... Do I use 65g or 80g springs for the carbs? I tried looking all over... 1995 SLX 780

    1995 SLX 780 called for 10-18 psi. So a 65 g with a 2.0 needle and seat.

Later years called for 20-24 psi, so those would use the 80g

Well hell... I just wasted 15 bucks then on 80g springs... I've got the 2.0's in and thought I needed the extra PSI...

You can give them a try. They did boost the pop off because they found it gave it a more crisp throttle response on the later year 780's.

Or just sell them. Shouldn't be hard to make your $$ back.

Cool. Thanks man. When I set the high/low screws how snug do I hit before I back up? I tighten stuff way to much....

    LIGHTLY seated.

It's just a brass needle and will distort really easily.
