06 RXT coolant leak
I have an 06 Seadoo RXT thats leaking coolant, but only while running it hard. Cruising around it doesnt. Holds fine while the ski sits for days.
I cant seem to find out where the heck its coming from? Ive pulled the SC intake, and manifold boots to get a good look at the hoses, all the clamps seem tight. Within 10 minutes of running it hard the overheat light will come on, and a whole bunch of fluid is sloshing around in the hull.
Seems to me to be coming from the bottom of the engine. I read posts on here that say head gasket is blown. But where would it leak from if the head gasket is shot??
Any ideas would be great.

That sounds like a classic headgasket problem. Try putting a bottle attached to the overflow tube. Go run it hard and see if coolant is caught in the bottle.

Just put it back in the lake, left the back seat off and did some riding. Ran it half throttle (5-6kRPMs) and its fine, run it WOT and it starts blowing coolant from the over flow tube.
Engine was replaced with an SBT engine less than 15hrs ago. Ski is bone stock. Ski makes great power, max's the speedo out at 70mph. But under any High boost conditions its spitting coolant, slow down to 5k and it will run all day.

Well from reading everyone elses issues, I was hoping it was the thermostat, But now noticing the excessive white "Steam" coming from the exhaust at idle and wot I agree its most def. the head gasket. Woohoo....looks like I will be pulling the engine again..
