    WTB parts for a sl700 1996

    i am looking for a polaris sl700 nozzle, fuel gauge, and steering cable

    and does any one know why my compression is so low i just had the crank rebuilt new pistons .50 over bored cylinders and i am getting 102 compression in both cylinders WHY? should i just mill the heads down the ski runs great it tops out at about 32 on gps but i have read that it should got to about 45

    That compression is way low. Were the cylinders bored to the proper size? Did you check ring end gap before installing them?

    Don't mill the heads, the low compression is related to some thing else. Why did you rebuild it in the first place? A burn down? Did you find the problem if that's what it did?

    i rebuilt it because it had 90 compression and the crank bearings were sandy feeling so the guy i had sent the crank and jugs to be rebuilt and he checked the rings end gap he had bought the pistons and matched it to the cylinder. what should i do
