I have never been to VT (which is amazing considering how much time i have spent in every other state in new england) but have been thinking a trip to the burlington area would be fun in september...rent a cottage or something? ride the skis and explore during the day and go out in town at night?

how warm does champlain get at the end of the summer? Whats the riding like up there?

just started riding there last year, only went once. water is cool even in september when i went, but not too bad considering the size of the lake. in the bays it was fairly warm. scenery is great and lots of places to explore. i did a 115mi solo run my first trip. fyi, gas is sparse on the upper end.
