    Suggestions? ideas?

    Hey Guys,

alright working on my buddys ski now, helping him out because he knows nothing about them, but apparently i know a little now,

    anywho,

was removing the carbs to rebuild them annnd one of the nuts rounded, i got the other 7 off, but nope one of them is toast...middle carb nut towards the front of the ski.

Suggestions on getting this mofo off?...... only thing i can think of is getting a dremel down in there and start cutting away at the nut and hope i dont cut something important!

There is no reason to cut into the carb. The nut is on the under side of the manifold.

I don't know if a nut splitter would work on flange nuts, or if you have the room to work with one, but that's my idea.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/3pc-Nut-Splitter-Set-New-Tools-9-22mm-Bolt-Out-Remover-/380440250800?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item5 8940189b0&vxp=mtr

But with them (nuts) being SS and they seem pretty brittle,Ii think it would work well.

With how rusted they are. Not so much SS. Thanks for the idea. That looks like a nice tool to have laying around the toolbox anyway. Will try cutting it with the dremel tomorrow. See where that gets me.
