    I need a motor mount

The Cane will be back on the water this year with the twin pipes installed. The set of pipes I have seem to be missing a lower mount to support the front pipe. It looks like the mount that used to be there bolted to the extra engine mount bosses in front of the motor. I was trying to figure out a way to build a support that would bolt onto the bosses, then the little light went on over my head and I figured it would be a lot easier if I just had a motor mount to bolt in there and then build the support to go to the mount.

Well, I dont have any mounts hanging around, but Im sure one of you guys do. The polaris # is 3121254, which is the motor mount used in almost every polaris hull.

anybody got one they might be willing to part with cheap???

I will have pics for the project to follow. I know there are quite a few folks out there that have asked me about a twin pipe install. Well, this year it's finally going to happen.

Bruce, is it the all flat mount? (SLT)

Or does it have the flanges bent about 45*? (SL)

Got the hull all cleaned out. Have the bulkhead and driveshaft support modified to clear the twins, and thing are going back into the hull. Here are a few pics.Click image for larger version.

got the mount, dont know if I will end up using it, the bolt sticks out and hits the pipe. I have more figuring to do on the front mount. Rebuilt the pump today, the front bearing was pretty bad. Got my final shopping list for hoses and attachments finished up tonite, so i will be picking those up tomorrow. The fuel pump rebuild kit and new throttle wheel showed up today, I should have the fuel system in order by this weekend.

Tbone, the extra fitting at the stinger and the stock midpipe fitting on my mod pipe were both tapped to screw a mikuni main jet into. I will let you know what size jets I have in them. You restrict the midpipe to dry it out a little for more rpm, but have to put some back into the stinger to keep the exhaust cool. I also made 2 stinger inserts for the stock pipe, 1 cuts it down by 1mm, the other by 2. I ran the 1 for a long time, the 2 would start getting things too hot. I will try to get some better pics of the stock/pipe/mod setup when I do my next round of build pics.

    Keep the Wet Side Down!!!!!!!!!!
