    Exclamation Solas Prop User Survey

BRP is placing the blame on my stripped driveshaft solely on the Solas prop. They claim not to know whether or not it was made to their tolerances...

So I'm trying to build up some info to send to them about how many people are using this prop and if they've had any problems similar to mine.

So if you're using a Solas prop with a stock driveshaft, could you put down year/model of ski, which prop and with any mods and any driveshaft related problems you may have had in the past. If you've had no problems, then put that down as well. Also put down any mods, but to make things accurate for my purposes, only reply if you're using a stock driveshaft.
Furthermore, they are also blaming the prop for my backing up in neutral. If you have an ibr ski, could you put down how it behaves in neutral as well?
I'm hoping to forward this off. I'm also going to contact Solas directly. I highly doubt their prop is to blame for all of this, but I'm just covering my bases.

    Thanks.

    Me:

2010 RXTis (GPS bypass, Riva Air intake)
Solas 15/22 repitched to 12.5/21.5 with setback and nosecone
    Driveshaft stripped
Backs up very fast in neutral.

2008 RXPX, Solas 15/22R, mods in my sig and have never had an issue! Dude, there are 1,000s of guys out there running Solas props without ever having an issue so WTF is up with those guys.........sounds like they are simply looking for any reason to avoid paying the warranty claim (what a bunch of fucking dicks!).

Last year, Solas 15/22r through an 83mm with zero problems on an xxx charger, fizzle ic, and 48's turning 8100+rpm.
This year, so far, zero problems.

I'm starting to get the picture, are the IBR systems adjustable? Is the neutral position acheived by redirecting pump thrust by a half dropped reverse/brake gate. If so and the pitch on the prop is altered it will affect the amount of thrust needed to maintain a neutral position while idling. Just wondering if so are these adjustable......

As far as any shaft dammage I couldnt explain the differences in the props that would cause dammage, I dont know the props.
