Its a PWC friend; its waterproof on the outside, to get ride of the water I use the preferred method of my right thumb is a jab motion forward, seems to do the trick.

Tilt the ski up in the front while on the trailer...

He is talking about rain water. I dont thing hammering the throttle on the trailer will remove water from the foot wells. The Yamaha SUV came stock with scupper drains in the foot-wells.

Take a old one gallon bleach bottle and cut off the bottom and half the side. Leave the top handle part intact. You got a homemade bailer with a handle. I will post a pic up tomorrow.

Do not let water pool in the foot wells while the ski is in storage. I have another ski that sat over the winter with a cover on it. Water pooled in the footwells and now the fiberglass and paint has bubbled up in those areas.
