    Honest Motor Life 08 GP1300r

Just curious I always see guys saying that after 100 hours these skis seem to let go, I know there is a current thread about this topic but it is talking about the older GPRs. I have and 08 with 40 hours on a fresh motor and it runs great. All stock with pro-x pistons. Is it true that the later ones do not have power valves? Does this increase the life of these skis? Anyone here with high (100 plus) hours on one of these skis? Just wondering and even if I have to rebuild the ski in the next 60 hours I would still love it, just kinda miss that my old FX HO had 200 plus abused hours and never gave a hint of an issue lol.
EDIT Motor is all stock but ski has bolt ons - impeller, exhaust, rideplate, ect ect.

I had over 150 hours of wot on my 06 1300 and sold it to some guys who were going to mod the shizzz out of it.
It was run on pre mix and ridden wot 80-90% of its life..

yes 05-08 no PVs....119 hrs on my highly modified 07...never a mechanical issue....only slight issues were from wavejumping (broken jet valve, efi controller connection snapped out, slant detector engaging)....

I have 540 hours on my '03 - I'm on my 3rd crank, but have gone thru quite a few top ends due to controller malfunction, two power valve failures, water intrusion, lean seize. Still runs mid 70's all day

Hi. Actually i have 130 hours in salt water in my stock 08, and still has cat.
Runs 65.3 in superman. I know a "d plate" should be a "must do" at long time ago, but...lazy.
Yyarok, what appen to your engine? Water ingestion?
