Have you notice any difference? I just don't want to cut it if there's no benefit.

    Thanks

In a TDR box i would cut the J-pipe1 3/4 inches from the bottom....As far as performance???I dont know if you will notice it by the seat of your pants BUT it takes the bottom of the J-Pipe off the bottom of the box therefor not allowing it to cause a "Hot Spot" on the bottom of the box seein the J-pipe is only about 1 inch fromt the bottom...NOW if the box had baffles then it wouldnt be an issue BUT the TDR box has no baffles and the water does not stay in the box and cool like it would with a baffled box...also if you plan on doing this drill out the J-pipe holes to 1/8 inch...no more though as it will allow to much water and then cause a performance issue...

It also makes it easier to remove the j pipe from inside the ski if you ever need to
