Pump Housing on RXT-X as260
Anybody have an issue with the pump housing being left loose (from the factory I assume) on their skis? When I pulled the pump out last week to put on a new prop, my entire pump was only hanging on by 1 screw (and it wasn't even tight). I ordered new brackets, gaskets, and hardware, and guess what.....Now the pump doesn't fit back properly at all. The space between the pump and the chassis is so big that the gasket will not stay. So now I have to figure out how to shimmy the pump or something. If anyone has dealt with something like this let me know. Thanks

If its still under warranty bring it to the stealership.

That's what I was gonna do, but I started thinking.....what are they gonna be able to do about something like this? If the pump has "adjusted" itself due to being improperly secured for 30 hrs, what can they do? Not sure if it's even worth the 1 1/2 hour drive down to take it to them.

I'm just thinking that if u replace parts and then have a failure on something in the area where u replaced parts they might void your warranty.
Also if u do bring it to the stealership talk directly to the tech that's going to work on it.
I've seen and heard of a lot of inexperienced techs working in the back.

if it under warranty i take it to the dealer and make sure that they change the pumb supprt and the drive shat , i know it hassle but riding the bumb for a while and dosent fit on 4 screw leeding to a damage for the shaft and the bumb support
