Thread: Supercharger!

    Supercharger!

Ok admittedly I'm a total newbie to pwc's. On a whim I bought a 2007 seadoo gtx limited, 129 hours and in good physical shape. Claimed it was locally maintain but I was weary. So I pull the supercharger and sure enough the ceramic washers are still in place. Everything is in perfect shape, the washers, the oil holes on the gear, all surfaces- there is a slight gap between the spring washers which I assume means rebuilding. I would love to hear everyone's ideas on best approach, replace, rebuild, aftermarket upgrade? Good how to links? I've read a bit of the posts but always like to hear from live people, thanks...

If it was me, I would just opt to upgrade!. Purchase a x-charger with 42 lb injectors, and the difference in performance will be worth it!!

    Rebuild only do this: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=146938

Upgrade to more boost and performance has countless options and associated parts to consider. What are your GOALS and how much $$$ do you want to invest??

    Just rebuild it completely.
    Washers and bearings.
Your one of the lucky ones that those crappy ceramic washers didn't break.

Get Jerry to rebuilt it or just buy a brand new SCer. I wouldn't let a dealer touch the ski.
