ID:	272183so I sucked up something, and had to idle for about 35 minutes to get to my trailer to take a look. After looking i had something between the impeller and the wear ring wall. I noticed a little wear, so I took some pictures. Let me know if this wear looks normal, or something that I could get through this season on. This happened on Saturday, then today I had someone on the back of my RXP X 260 while I was pulling a tub. They were pulling in some slack on the tow rope, and let it bunch up next to the ski when i was in nueteral. So yeah i ended up sucking that up today. My really hates me right now, but everything seems to be running fine. Just has been a relativity bad weekend.

The only way to really tell is to remove the pump and check the wear ring clearance

If its showing marks on the wear ring its time for a new 1.
Your losing a lot of performance with a scarred wear ring.
I've heard its good to replace every 50 hrs or so...

how easy is it to remove the pump on these things? How about the wear ring, does the freezer trick work? the wear ring is aloud about .030 of wear to it, and that's something that would show. So I would assume that if it has small groves in it, it should be fine. But if i were to replace it, i would probably get a solas impeller too. Would you recommend stage 1 or the stock one if i were to do it?

Are you sure about that???You might want to check your resources again...just because it has some scoring doesn't automatically make it bad..you will have SOME scoring do to prop flex which is normal..excessive scoring or deep grooves will then cause issues,BUT the only real way to tell is to take it off and use a feeler gauge and check to see if the clearences are within spec...

based on the pics you should be fine, however on one of the pics it looks like there is a small knick on the prop top left corner, or is it just an illusion. other than that itt looks to b o.k.

The iBR makes the pump a little tougher to deal with but it isn't hard if you have decent mechanical skills. You should have a shop manual if you are going to do it though. If you are a recreational rider I would let it go til I put it away for the winter. That RXP X 260 has a speed limiter at around 68mph if you are in the US. You should still be able to top out with those minor nicks.
