Blown Alcohol FZR
Been busy converting my fuel system to supply enough fuel to run E85. Heres how i did it..
Aeromotive 340 LPH in tank pump feeds Bosch 044 inline fuel pump. Pumps are mounted in series. All stainless braided AN6 lines with Marren fuel pressure dampner. Custom F.A.S.T 11/16 id fuel rail with filter mounted on inlet of rail. Mallory 4305 regulator. This system should support 800 plus HP on E85. It is probably a little overkill but i wanted to be able to pump enough fuel to run it rich if necessary, and not be on the edge with delivery volume.
Started out by raising the vipec fuel map 30 percent across the board. After 2 shakedown cruises to gather AFR data i have it extremely close to perfect. WOT AFR is intentionally rich now, averaging 11.4, on an optimal 12.2 target. One more mixture map adjustment with the vipec and ill be dead on.
1000cc Injector Dynamics injectors were at 100 percent duty cycle today. Deliverin the mail..
Other mods i installed over the last couple months are a custom Jims Performance style exhaust thru hull outlet behind rear seat, of course with no water box.
Also engineered a jetworks exhaust water injection controller similar to the old GPR setups. With this style exhaust and on alcohol water in the exhaust isnt really necesssary at an idle. Valve opens immediately on rpm increase to allow water to be injected into exhaust as heat increases. Without this mod water would build up in the exhaust pipe at idle, then when throttle was opened it would puke out a full gallon or so of water all at once.
Accelleration is amazing, even with a top speed impeller on it like i have now. Will do some top speed testing on flat water sometime soon. Should be fun..

Exhaust and intercooler chiller
Here are inside pics of exhaust setup, and also pics on an intercooler chiller ice box i fabbed up and installed. On demand i can switch valves to run intercooler water off of standard jet pump pressure, or switch over to the ice box and rule electric pump to lower intake air temps..
Anybody wanna race?

Love the performance mods, but seriously how long can you ride before your ears bleed from the exhaust noise

Every mod is in the name of total performance. Any form of exhaust restriction is not an option. Yes its loud and i would not recommend this style exhaust for a rec ski. Simple earplugs are the answer.

doesnt drain your battery with the fuel pumps and chiller box being ran? looks sweet, love the creativeness
