Mod questions about 2010 rxpx 255
I'm new to this site so forgive me if I am asking this question in the wrong place, but I just bought a 2010 rxpx 255. Thing has some awesome power and its fast however its not fast enough. I was told it would hit 70 mph and I can't get the thing to do over 66mph. Can somebody help me out with some mods? I don't know anything about seadoos this is my first one. I was thinking intake grate? Let me know what you guys think. I would like to hit above 70mph or atleast 70. Thanks guys.

Have your stock prop pitched and you should bang 70 easy.
Prop pitching in my 08 rxpx 255 got it from 63 gps speed to 70.0 gps.
It's the cheapest mod with the best results.

you should hit 70
get the prop to pitch to 15/20 or buy the srz-cd 15/20
by the way what is the rpm at the top end should be around 7800 - 8000 at your case , check this plz and change the spark plug
if you like to see 76-78 mile
- reporgramme ecu
- riva xx charger
- 4 inch air filtre
- exhauset , and watre box to be cleaned cutted from inside
- srz-cd 15-21 prop
- valve retainer
- feul regulator
i keep the stock intake

I will check my rpm next time i'm out. I will order the R&D intake grate as well. It's probably a noob question, but what do you mean by pitching my prop? How do I do that, is it expensive to buy? Where do I get it?

Before you pull out your wallet, go to both the 4-Tech Performance and Project sections and use the search forum tab. Enter something like "rxpx"... then start reading.
Welcome to the Hulk!

Just how fast do you want to go?
Do you want just bolt ons?
Do these things and you will have a 75-76 mph ski.
1 Get a R&D grate.
2 Put a 4" air on
3 Remove the flame arrestor for the intake manifold
4 Get a Riva pump wedge and rod
5 Get a stock RXP 83 mm nozzle
6 Buy a 15/22
