    Gp1300r gauge/cluster/multifunction meter

Hey guys hopefully someone can help. I've searched the site and google searched with no avail. Last season my cluster on my 03 gp1300r would register low voltage while running and I tested the voltage at the battery while running and it was perfect at 14.4v. Eventually the problem went away somehow and I want to mention the ski never had any issues while running. This season i took the ski out for the 1st ride and it ran mint but the cluster reads basically nothing, no speedo, no tach, 1/4 tank of fuel when full, and low voltage. I was thinking the cluster was bad like anyone else, but I have another cluster which I plugged in and that one is doing the same thing so now I'm thinking electrical. I've noticed a lot of people looking for clusters in their 03-04 GPRs and I'm wondering if there's an underlying issue with the clusters on those years, maybe a ground problem, sensor problem? I tried unplugging each plug 1 at a time to see if that changed anything and it didn't. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

idk. im running a 03 cluster on a 07 ski.and it runs fine. it sounds like you may have voltage problem on the wires that go to the display itself.check the wires at the point where it connects with the display with a multimeter.+ and -

I checked the voltage from the plug that powers the cluster and theres 3 wires. While running one is ground the other is at 14 volts and the third wire is at 4 volts. The third wire at 4 volts, is that the wire from the ECM and if it is is it supposed to be showing 4 volts, if it isn't then what wire is that. I have 2 clusters and just find it odd that both read the same, which is basically nothing lol, low voltage and 1/4 tank when full

    same issues

Just bought a 03 GP1300 runs great but all of a sudden having same cluster issues low voltage 1/4 gas when full and sometime a fuel warning alert. Once in a while it will pop online and work for a min and go back out.
Did any of you figure out the reason for this or just keep using the ski the with the issue there?

    thanks
