Post 03 Honda R-12x really rough running

I have an 03 Honda R-12x that I got in March with 30 hrs on it and it ran great a few weeks ago but I tried riding it last Friday and it was running super rough and when I pulled the throttle sometimes it would go up to about thirty, then other times it wouldnt go at all, I put 91 octane in it afew days before because I couldnt find 93 octane, any suggestions? Could it be fouled plug/plugs wastegate maybe

try plugs first. check your oil level. it could be overfilled.

I would pump it all out from front and back and then reinstall 4- 4.5 quarts.

I have seen them come in with 6 quarts not good!!!What happens is familys who share the skis some think oil is low and add I have found its even more of a problem with yamahas.Overfull is more problems than a 1/2 quart low,5 exact is the right amount if you know how to get every last bit out!!!JMHO>Marvin
