I Have A Problem With My O6 Gpr , It Has A Misfire At Idle. It Will Clear At Higher Rpm But As Soon As It Returns To Idle It Runs Lumpy Then Stops.have Checked All Of The Obvious I Thought I Would Ask You Guys Cos It Could Save Time Before I Start Stripping Bits Off,it Shows No Fault Codes.

Hard to do over the internet.
So you have checked compression ?
    Tried new plugs ?
Made sure its not loading up with fuel ?
Checked for air leaks around the boost port area ?
    Isolated bad cylinder ?
What work have you done most recently ?

    misfire gpr

    Hi Guys.
The Motor Is Running A Riva Arrestor And A D Plate And Efi.i Have Checked Compression,s All Ok.changed Plugs And Swapped Leads, even Changed The Efi From Other Ski.thought It Could Be A Reed Valve, have Run The Ski Without Efi Connected.when You Rev The Ski It Seems To Run As If It Is Excessively Rich And Produces Clouds Of Smoke Until It Clears And It Will Run On Three Ok But As Soon As It Returns To Idle It Will Lose A Cylinder And Stop!

    MISFIRE

    Hi Wfo
Not Touched The T.p S But Have Confirmed 0.8v Output To Ecu.have Been Working On Ski Today And Checking Outputs From Sensors.
The Motor Seems To Be Trying To Idle Too Low Perhaps Stepper Motor Fault ,will Check It!
I Need To Remove The Throttle Bodies To Assist Me With Another Project So When I Get That Far I Will Check Reeds Aswell.
Have Not Found Anything That Is Obvious Yet.
I Am Not Using The Keyway!
This Fault Occured Suddenly When Just Cruising!

Man you are in much luck. I ran into the same problem you are having. Hard to keep it idle, when you pin it it would take a while to clear out before it took off, smoked more than my buddies ski. Well, we finally got the problem fixed TODAY. Thanks to Jim1300, WFO and Ronn. We ended up unplugging the temp sensor on the top of the pipe that runs to the rear electrical box. We put a 1k Ohm resistor into the plug (the part that goes back to the rear electrical box), cleared all issues. My ski idles at 1800 rpms, the hole shot is incredible now, mid range is awesome. I did not stay out long enough to check the top rpms, but boat felt like it never has before. Its crisp out of the hole. You may want to check that out by putting a 1k Ohm resistor. I didn't have a 10K Ohm resistor like they told me to run, but 1k Ohm worked great for me.
    Hope this helps.
