Another polaris win (sort of)
I went to the first R5 race of the year in Madisonville TX. this week, and was going to race Endurance on the seadoo RXP but I brought the pro785 anyway,
The normal 3 guys that race the 800's weren't going to be there, so I was going to pass on the 785 pro this round,
A race guy I knew from last year asked me if he could race it, and I told him sure, but it was only doing 7500 rpms and was only doing 55 on the gps,
he said he didn't care,
He took a couple of practice runs and wiped out on 3 of the bouy turns, I am thinking the worst for the actual race,
Come race time, he raced another 800 seadoo a kawasaki 1500 and a seadoo 1300 super stock and a yamaha 1300 super stock class and he won,
they think he missed a buoy I think because they scored him 2nd,
The next heat he placed 2nd and on the last heat for the day he was too tired and didn't race at all,
The ski seemed to run pretty good, with all the help from lugs, regardless of the lack of top RPM's I am sorting out,
pictures to follow,

Well damn I would have come and raced my 785 if I knew that! I'll be at Gene's for sure in June. Bought some new jets to try out this weekend to try and get 7800+ after the rebuild.

Ya think? LOL I guess he found out how well those Beach House Sponsons grip huh? Hahahaaa.. Yeah, they bite hard if you point it that way..too funny..
That was being awful generous to let him race your ski. Man...you just got it back together too. It was probably pretty cool watching your ski tearing it up on the course. usually your on it and cant watch the race.

yep I was nervous but this guy has been racing R/A for years, but I told him to take a couple of practice rounds first, and he said "Naw its just a another runabout, I said give it a try just to be safe, so he did, and he was glad he did,
