Rough idle oily emulsion on plugs

Have 2004 FX HO. Was idling rough and not hitting top end speed. Checked plugs and one was very oily and the other three had a clear oily emulsion. One plug well had part of a rubber gasket in it?

    Help?

Oily emulsion, like milky looking? Or more of thin, oil mixed with fuel emulsion? First run of the year, of the day, or at the end of some riding?

I might venture to guess too much fogging oil? Not sure. I would take all the plugs out and turn it over a few times to blow out any fluid. Change the plugs and start from there.

Ok, did that and it seems to running much better. Thanks for the advice. True test will be this weekend.

Nice, hope that you have a good run. Consider changing the plugs if it sat to long looking milky. Milky means water or condensation, and that can degrade a plug, among other things. Might consider bringing a second set with you....
