Check your electrical connector to the power valve motor there might be some moisture in there make sure is it dry and clean. Happen to me a while back had some moisture in the connector and damn thing keep cycling every few minute, i clean it and it was good to go afterward.

everytime you bump the starter and activate the MFD after about a minute the valves cycle a full open and close for the cleaning cycle. if is continuing to cycle 10 mins later with the lanyard still in?????? I have questions as there should be now power to any of the circuits.
