    XR1800 1200PV engine in XLT1200

I have an XR1800 engine and I'm fairly certain its the same engine as my XLT1200. They are straight bolt up's right?

Yes they are basically the same. There can be differences in where the fuel is brought in, Some of the boats brought the fuel in on #2 carb. The jetting in the carbs is different, for some strange reason they had smaller pilot jets in the boats. The stock pilot jets for the ski should be 95's, the boats were 87.5's. if you need some I have a bag full of take off 95 jets from upgrades. I will send you 3 for the price of shipping $5.35

Oh I forgot one other important thing, The cable pulley on the carb is different, you will need one from a ski, if you do not have I have those as well.

Ok thanks Bill. As long as the only difference is the carbs. Mechanically everything is the same.

I just rebuilt my carbs and got the ski back together lastnight. I hope the [email protected]@rd runs. If not I'm pulling the motor and rebuilding the whole thing so I know its taken care of. Cant ride a ski I dont trust.

Thats the only differene on the motor, from what I understand the ecu is different as well, but I am assuming you are using the one from the ski.
