    Intercooler cooling line

I've got the dedicated line ran, but now I'm in a dilemma on how to cap the stock line. Riva does a self tapping screw in the diverter. I'm half tempted to drill and tap a second feed into the type 14 and use the dedicated and the stock line, but I'm worried it might "backfeed" the system, although it probably wouldn't. Then it would still flush the intercooler aswell.

    Thoughts/ideas?

I used the 3 way splitter the HO skis use. Think it was less than $10

I used the 3 way splitter off the VXR skis but they are on national back order for 2 more weeks, I ended up finding mine at a Southern California dealer that happened to have it in stock. The part no. is 60E-12581-00-00

I also ran a dedicated line to my cooler on my conversion. I didn't like the idea of just screwing a self tapping screw into splitter. I tapped the fitting for a NPT plug like pictured below, so I could recess the head below flush of the splitter for a cleaner install. I used an NPT tapered thread pitch mainly because the NPT threads actually forms a seal when tightened being the threads basically compress against each other. Not like standard straight threads that only hold the things together and do not provide the seal. It's probably overkill, but I installed it and never worried about it since. Hope this helps. Keith

The ski isn't going to be on the water for a few days, so hopefully I get a call from the dealer telling me they have the divertor in. If I get it fired up before it comes in, I'll just clamp in a bolt in the line..lol
