I was wondering about the offset pump nozzle that is on my 15F, I see it is offset to the top of the pump, which would bring the jet stream higher in the water. In my experience I think you want to have the jet stream as close to the bottom of the hull as possible for more thrust & then trim it up for more speed. This setup is used on the 250/260 & I think 300's also, can anyone tell me the advantage of this design versus as straight nozzle? From doing some reseach I don't think the stx 900-1100-1200R uses this nozzle.
