    another carb question

Ok so here's the deal. Last time I had my gp1200r out it would run good for about 30min then it just bog down. So I decide to clean the powervalves and rebuild the carbs. Ski is all stock except d-plate. My power valves were horrible! You could barely turn them by hand. Now they are good on to the carbs. So I rebuilt them with mikuni kits. Well wouldn't u know it I dropped a Carb. The result is the accelerator pump broke. Ok I planned to rejet and get arrestors and delete the pump but I'm not ready yet. I wantted to make sure its working before investing the mula.

    1) if I'm stock should I still change the pop-off preassure?

    2) now that the accelerator pump is broken what's the best coarse of action with the least bit of money? Keeping in mind I intend to rejet and flamearrestors.

Note thanks bill for thelink I read it befoore I guess because now I'm knee deep in it I never noticed that's the way u did it.

Maybe no ones tried this? I'm thinking stock jets and airbox. Blocked off accelorator pump. With 45 psi pop-off. That way its not running lean. Or u think the stock jets are still restricting the flow to much?

Most everything you could think of has been tried on these skis. Read the stickys and jet the way they reccomend and pay close attention to the tuning tips. If you want performance throw that stock air box away and jet the carbs then tune the carbs. And start fat.
