Questions about the GTR and GTI skis.
Folks,
I was wondering if anyone had reflashed a GTR or GTI? What were the the results and improvements?
Thanks

We have done a few.
A bit better acceleration and higher top speed.

The vtech tunes by-pass the speed limiter in a m.p.h sense, but limits the engine rpm at 8350 in Stage 1, correct?
the 'touring' mode is still available?
Please explain the dash indicating 'touring' when starting in 'sport'.
8350 wont result in pre-mature valve-train wear?

8350 seems to be max without retainers
xcharger 48lb injectors and reflash over 70mph

My ski with 8350 rev limit, air intake, free mods, and prop should see mid to high 70s. No need for x charger or 48s. But I haven't tried it yet but I know she'll go. I was curious of doing a stage 2 with 8400 rev limit. hmmm...

I have a friend looking to pick up a GTR and is also interested to see what the 8350 will do for him.

Got one waiting for the registration process and such...Its kind of a pain in the a$$. You have to intially register. Then wait and wait....then I guess they will assign you a username and account to log into then you have to send a request for tune...and I guess wait and wait.. then download and install. Right now I am waiting for them..registered on Sat. and still no account or email from them. I want to ride damn it!!!!! Ill post results when I can finally get it tuned!!!
