    rebuild questions

I have a couple questions about refreshing my motor after I had washer failure. I need to find the 08 oil upgrade and cant seem to find it, is there a link that someone can send me ?
also what are you guys using for sealer to seal up the case with I was thinking of using the right stuff but the manual says to use loctite 5910 ?
Also my timimg chain has a couple small nicks but nothing bad at all should I change it out or run it, if I was to change it could I keep the same gears ?

The motor only has 80 hours onit so whats your guy's thoughts

the SC oiler update is removing the old style SC oiler (spray nozzle) and drilling/tapping the hole (8 ) and then drilling/tapping an other new hole(9) for the suport bracket bolt/screw
you only need 7-8-9 for the update and flywheel/mag bolts (42)(junk ss) while your in there

    Your good.
If you remove the flywheel bolts they need replacing anyway.

For $100, replace the chain if in doubt.

Can I get away with just replaceing the chain and not the gears ?

So I'm thinking I can do just the chain to be on the safe side but what about sealing the cases back together do I need the Loctite 5910 or something different the Loctite is almost $50.00 ?

I have the proper drill bits and taps for the 08 update if you need to borrow them.

I would pull the engine, strip it to a bare block and have it cleaned by member Slow 91 in East Hartford. Make sure to flush the oil cooler! Assemble with fresh bearings, new bod bolts, head bolts, flywheel bolts, front and rear oil pump screens, PTO gasket, head gasket timing chain.

Change the timing chain, you don't change the gears
Right Stuff is fine but be sure to apply it with a roller as outlined in the manual. It just ensures that you get a thin, even film and even clamping/sealing
