If you can't stand behind our troops; Please, feel free to stand in front of them.

I always use this quote when I don't see any or enough respect for our troops.

Happy Memorial Day to all past, present and future Americans! Remember, its not national BBQ day.

I served. Now I'm a civy. The military life is a hard life with little pay and benefits. Those guys do a tough job for very little reward (monetary, anyway). It's not uncommon for a member of the military who is married and has a couple kids to qualify for and receive food stamps. Very sad how we abuse the ones who give the most while bankers and politicians sit in big houses and eat steak every night.

God Bless our military, not so much the politicians and bankers.

    /rant over.

Another good one is "If you can read this post, thank a teacher. If you can read it in English, thank a soldier."
