    the wife's new vxr

    picked up the wife's new vxr friday night. Then took it out on the water saturday since the sun gods woke up. Needless to say she's in heaven!

    Very nice. She's really going to enjoy her new ski. My wife loves her VXR too.... when I let her ride it.. LOL

    I just thought the same thing. Remove all the stickers, cover the seat or dye it black and it would give the carbon a run for its money. (Still love my carbon though).

    Anyway congrats on the VXR as you already know its a blast!!!

    Not sure if you already know or not but I would NOT advise towing with the factory cover on! You will get a ton of scratches in the paint.

    hmm i havent seen any scratches yet but then again i go about 1/3 of a mile to the lake. i have gone last summer on a 300 mile round trip when i just had the fzs and didnt notice any scratches. so your saying the cover rubs on the paint?

    I have towed all different types of ski's over the years with covers on, never had a problem....they have to be on correctly and snugged up correctly.....

    With the portals on the covers they just suck down like shrink wrap while going down the road.
