Best solas impeller for a 2002 seadoo gtx di?
I'm looking to replace my stock impeller and wear ring on my 2002 seadoo gtx di with a solas impeller. It currently gets up to 50 mph but i would like to get a bit more power out of it. I don't know much about solas impellers so any recommendations or feedback would be greatly appreciated. I decided to go with the "Solas Dynafly Stock Impeller - Pitch 13/19 ST-DF-1319" along with a new sbt wear ring for reliability. I will run the ski this weekend and post some feedback.

Something isn't right. You should be seeing 60 mph. What rpms are you reaching? What are your compression numbers. Are you getting any cavitation. I dont think a new prop will help any unless it's worn out.

The 2002 GTX DI has the heavier 4-Tec hull. 51-52 is the best I have seen with mine. That is with a new engine, stock reconditioned impeller and new OEM wear ring. I am turning 6600-6650 rpms. I don't think mods are the right way to go on this machine from a cost/benefit approach. It is what it is.

My impeller and wear ring were completely shot and needed replacing which caused excessive cavitation. I havent gotten back on the water to test the mods but am sure ile see atleast 55+ with better excelleration. Ile see if i can get a video up to share the experience.

the stock impeller is your best bet, perhaps with a degree or two reduction on the trailing edge.
