fuel pump

just installed a new fuel pump becuse the last one was running inter mittently
and this one is to
what controles the pump??
is the computer do this can this be the problem??

fuel reg on top of tank controls fuel psi
the fuel pump should spin all the time with the motor running

Sounds to me like you have a loose wire or connection..Especially after you installed a second one and its doing the same thing....

im going to pull it apart again,
all looked good to begin with and the old pump
runs fine when i put 12 volts to it
i have 12 volts to it when the key is in
i was told ECU supplys the ground
im thinking could this be were my trouble is?
how can i test, ground pump directly?

grounding the pump direct works took pump out and fed it ditect and
she works
there are no conections to check
i was told the ECU supplys the ground
is that internaly?
how do i check to see if its the ECU
