    help poor performance

Well shoukd have done this last year but never got to it, the last time I ran my genisis 1200 FI it started
small back firing and would not rev up would start and idle but when throttle applied it started the back firing
and also had a bad exhaust smell like it was out of time so I checked to flywheel key and it was good sent
the emm of to DFI and they said it was good I tried new plugs and tried dropping cylinders and it did not matter still did it, unplug TPS and it would not even to try and rev up any idea's it was running perfect and
it just all of a sudden did this.

With the TPS unplugged does it backfire? The throttle will not respond with it unplugged as that is what sends the signal to the EMM. If it will start and idle fine with the TPS unplugged with no backfiring that could be the issue. Another thing is the crank position sensor located on the top of the stator cover. You can check it with a meter. You should get less than 200 ohms. Any debris inside the stator cover when you checked the flywheel key? The magnets sometimes come loose on the flywheel and damage the stator, cps and forward seal. Let us know what you find out. Cheers.
