Rude Charger with Riva Stage III

    Has anyone tried this combination?
Will it work. I am tempted to buy the Rude Charger.
    Thanks

    Hmm

I have the Riva set up(stage3) and am also wondering the same thing . I am guessing the 2+ pounds of boost over the riva gives ya the power to repitch the 15/19 and run over 80 consistantly I am probaly not going to spend the 2k(Rude) and just Turbo up after Greenie/JD 1 and others test it! I imagine it will be 4-7k on a set up so i will just hold off for it Dam this is getting freaking expensive!!!

The Rude charger will work very well with the Riva stage 3 ECU as the ECU adjusts for the additional boost. Riva was very smart in mapping it this way.

You will definately need to add some pitch to your prop though as the Rude Charger makes a ton more power.

Actually Jerry this is not quite true. In our production Rude Charger, I was seeing an increase of 100-150 RPM's over my tried and true "B" kit S/C.

Also, the midrange acceleration was noticably better on the new supercharger compared to the "B" kit.

Another improvement was that the S/C discharge temps were consitantly 5-7 Centigrade COLDER than the "B" kit.

In short, the new Rude Charger is better in practically EVERY area compared to the older "B" kit. Construction quality, quality of the impeller, balance of the impeller, consitant clearances..etc.etc.etc..

It says the older b kit but the new b kit is better than the old one so how does that compare.
