    1998 xl1200 taking on water

My 1998 xl 1200 is taking on water when I run it using a garden hose and when I am out on the water. Any ideas?

Something in the cooling system is leaking. Check the hose from the jetpump up towards the engine, then check all the engine hoses, the engine itself, and the exhaust for water leaks.

    Did you find your leak?

Yes I just found it. It was the large hose toward top of the motor---exhaust I believe

    Thanks
