    gp 1300 r ?

My ski was hesitating first time I started it in the mourning it would run slow and weird then it started to run normal. Later in the day the warning light came on so I turned it off and back on then the light was off it happened to me three times than the light stayed off and I noticed a taping noise the whole day is this a problem

    Check the compression.
Sounds like you have a problem coming up.
Are u using the oil injection or premix?
I had a 1300 that started to knock and it was because the oil injection pump wasn't pumping enough oil.
I had the motor rebuilt and used premix and rode it for another 150 hrs before selling it.

Imo all 2 strokes should premix fuel.
The injection pumps are known to not always put out the same volume of oil.
Atleast when u premix u know how much oil is getting to the motor.

The tapping noise is just gremlins under the hood. Use mouse traps, that will rid you off them. Besides that, what warning light specifically went off?

    Compression check your motor.
If the motor is failing it should show in the compression.

dude the factory oil injection pumps oil just fine. the reason why people say it doesnt pump enough oil is because they have a efi controller which flows more fuel. more fuel and stock oil injection = lean = lean seizure. i believe jim made a post about this a while ago.

I've had a oil injection pump die on a gp 1200r and a gpr 1300.
It's just so much easier to premix.
