How do you clean your life vest?
Hey guys, just wondering how you guys take care of your life vests. Noticed a couple of mine are starting to get pretty old looking, faded, and smelly. Every time I take them out in salt water, I hose them down, but usually not after just a river run. I'm looking to try to get the smell out of the neoprene and also for some tips on how to keep my new vest I just ordered in a little better condition. Thanks in advance!

fill a big bucket with water and add Tide or other liquid laundry detergent. Soak and scrub. That should get them clean and get ride of the smell. However i won't get the color back to normal.
let the dry in the sun too.

The bucket idea works well. Air dry out of direct sunlight to avoid fading. But check the tag on the new one, im sure there are some sort of instructions on that.

Use Sink The Stink to get the smell out. I wash all my riding gear in it especially my hubby's water socks.
