    Question 98 seadoo gsx ltd questions

    i recently purchased a gsx ltd 951 with some sort of engine trouble. found out the piston skirt broke. no big deal tore it down checked cases counter balancer crank and rods ect. keep in mind i do not know the hours of the engine. i was going to just do the top end when i noticed some pitting in the rod on the bottom side of the hole where the compression stroke would come into play in that spot. i was just wondering if any one could maybe guide me on wether i put a hotrods crank or maybe stick with the one i have and leave it alone and do the top end or if the hotrods crank is any good. just wondering what someone else might do in this case if hours are unknown and i want to keep it for awhile
