Numbers are fine on mine but the MODE button does not work. Is it something you can fix?

Bad mode button is either an electronic malfunction inside the gauge or just a bad button. If its a bad button its a relatively easy fix. I had one with a set button that didn't work. When I opened the case and put a jumper across the pins of the set button connector it worked. Turns out the plastic behind the button was cracked. I swapped out the face from a bad donor MFD and I was able to fix it.

I'll give it another crack and see what happens. Cracked it once before to fix the display, everything worked great till I accidentally bounced the wire off battery terminal
