accl pump issue with the 40mm keihins.the check balls inside the metering block distort or the pump dia's develop small cracks.the keihins will also loose sync between carbs and cause some weird idling issues

My symptoms did change, I thought it had just got worse but now I'm thinking it's a different issue, (I posted in the projects section about this also)

I had it out 4 times and it was doing about the same then all of a sudden I didn't have any power, it was running kinda rough and it would not get over 3 mph. It did get me back to the dock but it wouldn't get up and go at all.

This is the problem the diagnosed as the stator.

could be,fir it up the trailer in the water,do each of the spark plug bases get warm or hot?
