    gel coat repair upside down?

I found that one of the skis needs a gelcoat repair there is a nice chunk of coat missing. The only problem is it is on the bottom of the hull so is it possible to do gelcoat while the ski is upright on the trailer? I would be applying it upside down. Is it tacky enough to not just fall off?

They sell a small gellcoat kit.

I removed my motor and flipped my ski over.
you may be able to lift the ski a little to give yourself more room.
    best of luck.

cling wrap works great for holding and smoothing gel coat when gravity is working against you

Remember watching someone fix my fathers boat when I was younger and he hit a log in the river. That's exactly what they did. Once it was fixed you could never tell it had damage.

You could just use Marine Tex, that's what I did. My ski was on the trailer the entire time.
