Making the switch 97 GTI
Beeb riding Polaris for awhile now and am looking at a 97 SeaDoo GTI. The machine is in excellent shape. Serviced at local dealer since 01. Has had a new top end done in 2009. Compression is 140 in each. Asking 2200 with trailer, cover, and manual. They also have a rebuilt jet pump last year.
What can I check for? Is thus too much? Where I lived they are spendy. A 95 is 2500.
Thavjs for the help!

The GTI has a slower, less horsepower motor in it-717 with 85HP. The GTX of the same year has a larger motor-787 with 110 HP. Not sure what you are looking for, both are 3 seaters. You will need to take it for a water test ride. Everything runs good on a trailer but not always on the water. See if it has grey fuel lines if it does you'll have to replace them, go through the carbs, and clean the fuel system. Check wear ring, and the underbody of the ski, gauges etc.

The fuel and oil lines were replace this spring. He showed me the receipt from the dealer. I'm only looking to cruise a little.
