NA-variation of the FZR... a pipe dream?

Wondering if Yamaha will ever consider a NA version of the FZR. I know the argument that the VXR/S is there to fill the naturally aspirated performance model gap, lets face it, the 1800cc NA engine is powerful enough to have a dedicated FZ-model of its own for extra bells and whistle and design that the VX-series does not have.

The peace of mind of not having to worry about a supercharger problems/matienance or gas consumption, at a reduced price over the supercharged editiions at nearly the same performance is a huge plus..

Roughly, the NA-engine VXR and the SC'd variant in the FZR are about the same 0-30mph speed (i know model weight difference does make a differnce and balances those speeds a bit)...so why not?

I'd slap it as a "FZX" and release it asap if i were them... i think Yamaha might be suprised how much interest there just might be for such a model

    just wishful thinking
