BRP moving Sea-Doo Assembly to Mexico

FYI in the news in Montreal:

    http://argent.canoe.ca/lca/affaires/...s-mexique.html

It's in French, but Google translate captures the rough idea.

    TL;DR They're moving Sea-Doo production to Juarez.

That sucks. I know why BRP and auto manufacturers do it but there is a quality loss attached with Mexican production at this point in time.

I hope the quality stays and the prices drop.

Agree on the price, you know they are saving a ton of money moving production to Mexico compared to Canada - the consumer should see some of that.

Well, my '06 Jetta TDI was assembled in Mexico, and nothing has fallen off it, or broke. Its been a very reliable car. I therefore expect an increase in quality from BRP. Maybe now we can get correctly aligned pumpshoes and thru the hull fittings......cause the Canadians sure can't do it! No unions in Mexico......

The prices will stay the same, because the market already supports it.

Buy stock, because profits will be up and that should pay dividends as well as possibly inflating the value of the stock...

...the4 decals just wont be lined up.
