    GoPro: Floaty Backdoor

Hey guys, I realized from reading a lot of the threads on here about GoPro's and talking to friends that a lot of people still aren't aware that the GoPro Floaty Backdoor exist. It's a little orange floaty box that sticks onto your backdoor allowing your GoPro to float if it happens to fall off. I always recommend to my friends with GoPro's to tether there camera's but still I think for $15, it's a really good product for safety off your $300 camera and the piece of mind added is great.

I was just posting this topic incase anyone had a GoPro and was unaware of this great part.

    Here's a link: http://gopro.com/camera-accessories/floaty-backdoor/

I have the same floaty back door. It works well but it only floats the camera and a small mount. It does not float the suction cup mount so keep that in mind

I actually ordered mine last week and used it this past weekend on the water. It's a great addition to the rest of the gopro gadgets.

I don't use it myself because I have that little LCD screen attached to my Gopro. I do tether the camera to the ski though. I actually used some of that string off of those cheap plastic winndow blinds along with those plastic bell ends. Open the hood, toss the string in and shut it up, the camera wont go anywhere if it falls off. I decided to barely attach the camera and whiz around the lake for a bit with it hanging by the string and it worked like a charm.

Yep I used a different, but equally nice product, called the go float it. It worked 3 times so far. The one I used you stick on the back of your gurrent go pro case or other electronic.
I bought this before go pro put out their door

You can but how will you see the LCD? The floaty isn't transparent.
