I was told I need to adjust the cam timing on my new RXP. I am only turning 7700rpms. Can anyone tell me how to adjust the cam timing.

i'm not too sure about the timing but have u checked other things first... -- is your ski brand new or have quite a few hours on it... a worn wear ring in your pump can rob you of RPMs and speed... your impeller may be off on one of the blades or possibly nicked..... check your oil level (needs to be about half way between the 2 marks on the stick) too much oil -- which happens often can lower your RPMs.....

I was told by a Seadoo dealer that the ecu doesn`t give you full power till you`ve done 10 hours on the 05 models. Seadoo apparently did this to stop impatient owners giving their ski`s a hard time to soon. Could be your problem.

i've heard that's true for the first 5 hours... it's in a break-in mode.. don't know the truth of it... still hauls ass during the break-in... but not totally at its max until 5 hours? ... dunno
