    Bad display on TX?

I have a 2002 TX that I'm thinking about replacing the 1200cc with a 1050cc. The old motor put a piston through the head and the block. It had had some enw parts put on it and the display is peged at 75mph and is stuck there. How do I fix that. The folts do not show up does that show it is a bad display. I have pressed the reset display and it will not let me change the time.

Disconnect and reconnect the 12-pin connector on the back of the MFI display. If it does not behave normally then something is wrong with the MFI.

Well I did that and iyt looked the same. The next day I unhooked it from the TX and pluged it into the TXi and YES it works. There is some of the liquid has come out on the display but for now I can read everything. So it works on the 01 TXi but does not work on the 02 TX. It just flashes on the TX. What is my next move? The TX seems to be the problem.

    Check/replace display fuse.

Check for corrosion or weak voltage at the display connector.
