    Right part for the 2002 Virage TX

    Is this the right part for the 2002 TX. It is new but shortly hafter it was installed the Ski peged out at 75 mph and put a piston throught the head and case!

    Ahh....your Virage did not do 75mph.....unless it was on the trailer being towed behind your car.

    Beyond that, I can't think of anything the LR could do to cause a crank failure.

    You engine failure sounds like mechanical cause. LR module seems unlikely to cause mechanical damage.
