Heat Cycle 300x
So I've seen a couple theads talking about heat cycling the engine?
I think I already do this (or what I would interpret) when I run hard or WOT I don't ever just shut the ski down, run it at 3k rpm to cycle coolant.
Is this what this is refering to? Am I missing something

Heat cycles are the "cycle" of the engine going from stone-cold to operating temp and back to stone cold. It allows gaskets to "bed in" properly. BTW, It is a common practice for high-end race mechanics to re-torque things like cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds after a few heat cycles for durability.
